I have what appears should be a simple question, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to change this.
My NCM is integrated with Orion NPM. On the "configs" dashboard, the various summary charts appear, such as "Overall Configuration Changes Snapshot", and "Overall Devices Backed Up vs Not Backed Up". Because I've imported my Orion nodes into NCM from NPM, I have a ton of devices that can't be backed up by NCM...Windows for instance.
My problem is that the views show 25% backed up, and 75% not backed up or unknown (Windows, APC, etc). I already know these are not backed up, because NCM can't do it.
I've tried setting the scheduled backup job to Cisco only, and unmanaging the non-cisco nodes. The reports still show these non Cisco devices. I simply want to filter the views to Cisco nodes only, and not have it take into account other devices. Does anyone know a way to do this? I would still like to inventory the non-Cisco devices, but since I'm not backing them up, I don't need to know what percentage of them are "unknown" when it comes to backup.
