Monitoring Microsoft Teams Call Quality issues

Hi There,

Has anyone got Solarwinds to monitor Microsoft Teams Call Quality successfully ?

The Teams Admin Portal shows basic info but its inaccurate as we've had lots of choppy Video and Audio during meetings in the office but at home the quality is better? The MS portal show now issues?

I know there is NetFlow but its not giving me much to work on.

Unfortunately not. you could try Solarwinds support to see if they can help.

@AgentSmith, So Netflow is just going to tell you the amount of data that traverses your network and details about it, in this scenario as you've found it's not generally helpful beyond "Yup, it's traversing my network." To start looking at the quality your best bet is using IPSLA's on your routers (or supported devices), if you own VNQM you can then monitor those IPSLA's within SolarWinds if you don't own VNQM you'll have to monitor them using UnDP's (kind of messy to get this right). Alternatively, you could use a Netpath probe to see if there's anything going on external to your network but you won't get as much quality-related details as you would with IPSLA's.

We have VNQM in our environment, But I am not sure if we can monitor Microsoft Team's Quality of call with this Product. I find no documentation or discussion with regards to this.

@aksh14, you have to set up an IPSLA specifically targetting the ports that Microsoft Teams using for calls and then you monitor that IPSLA within VNQM.
