Setup NOC View to rotate through dashboards

I found a few articles in THWACK that kind of describe how to rotate through different NOC views but I am still a bit confused at how to have the different views rotate. We had this setup in the past and not sure how it was setup. I have a bunch of new dashboards that I created that I would like to setup NOC views to rotate through. Thanks! -Dave

Let's say you create a new Classic view/dashboard - call it "Top 10 Stuff".

If you enable NOC mode on this new single view - it will just remove the menus etc like a wallboard type display.

Now you decide to expand. You enable the left-hand tabs and add another couple of sub-views so you have something like:

Top 10 Stuff - Summary
Top 10 Stuff - Network
Top 10 Stuff - Servers

If you have NOC mode enabled then it will remove the menus etc but now also rotate between those 3 views every X seconds.

If you then go and create a completely separate Classic view called "Martians Dashboard" and enable NOC mode, it will not interact with the Top 10 Stuff view at all. Only whatever is on Martians Dashboard and its subviews.

The NOC mode automatically rotates through the configured sub-views (left-hand side tabs). If you want to rotate between completely separate views, you most likely need a browser plugin that rotates between the different URLs.

I don't know any plugins off hand or what is best. Just that clients have utilised browser plugins or other tools to rotate through the different URLs for wallboard displays, etc.

...and NOC view mode with automatic rotation is NOT available YET with modern dashboards :-)

Another clarification. If you just navigate to the view that has NOC mode, it won't rotate automatically. You have to click the option in the top right corner to "Show in NOC mode", or have the URL include the option to enter NOC mode.

If you include &isNOCView=true on the end of a classic view URL, it should enter NOC mode without needing to click the Show in NOC mode link. You can use this in menu links or in 3rd party tools for wallboard displays.

Look up the Chrome Plugin called Revolver - Tabs it will allow you to rotate through several Solarwinds and Non-Solarwinds tabs
