Parent status is green when child node interface is shutdown

Hello,

We have a group of devices which when the interface goes down the status is "shutdown" instead of "down". Because of this the node status and parent status for the nodes show green. Is there anyway to customize this so that the parent status shows a critical or warning status.

What sort of device is it? Is the actual port being shut down or did the device that's plugged in fail? It's odd for a port to go into shutdown if the interface is not actually configured as shut. Maybe it's a quirk of the device you are using.
