Command to edit alarm custom property

What would be the command to update an alarm custom property. We have an action that creates an incident in our SM tool via a powershell script from an alarm. I want to be able to return the incident number (and maybe an embedded link  back to the incident in the sm tool) back to a custom alarm property I have created called TroubleTicketID. We have this in our old monitoring tool was hoping I could create this in SW.

From what I understand Custom Properties for alerts are configured for the alert definition, and not to the Active Instance of that alert definition. The active alert inherits the value from the alert definition and so it is not possible to update the value in this way. In this case, it seems updating the alert notes may be a better approach thwack.solarwinds.com/.../266457
