Can't see if this is possible to do but may be another solution
We have a mix of equipment in the same subnet ranges. I would still like nodes to be imported automatically, but not Cambium radio's as their configs are already backed up through 2 other methods hence its just a waste of a license
I don't believe I can handle this sort of filtering in the actual discovery process but maybe there's another way to do so? i.e. with a blacklist, or another job that runs based on the results of the discovery if its set to 'manual import'? or perhaps just have it import but set the device to unmanaged/muted and put into a different category?
Ideally i'd like to go a step further and only import based on valid SNMP results (i.e. model = is a/b/c/d, not e/f/g) but for now a vendor filter is enough and since Solarwinds is capable of identifying and grouping by vendor I believe this should be possible somehow
