How do I change a nodes identity from Unknown to a correct device type?

I am testing the trial version of NPM. I got NPM to discover most of the devices either by SNMP or WMI. The problem is that I now have 127 nodes that are listed as Unknown and can't find a way to change the designation to reflect what type of Device it is.

Also, I don't see a template for SonicWall products either.

When you go to the node details of of the unknown devices is the polling method ICMP?

Yes, current polling method is ICMP.

You need to change the polling method as outlined below to SNMP or WMI this is also a good way to test your credentials.

I tried changing one of the nodes to the "Most Devices SNMP/IMCP" option. Left the default as SNMPv2c, port of 161, and entered our Public Community name. I know this community name is right as it works just fine with PRTG NetMon, yet Solarwinds says the credentials aren't correct and won't scan with them.
