Is it possible to record purchase info in Orion Device Tracker?

Hi all, currently looking at possibly using Orion as our main inventory management as well as network monitor, but one thing that is important to my company is recording the purchase date and price within our inventory management software. I've been messing around in Orion trying to see if there was any custom field I could add to record something like this, but I was unable to find anything. Does anyone know of a solution for this type of need?

You are on the right track. I have custom property fields for Vendor, Acquisition Date, Cost, Property Tag#. As well as all the location information, Other things I added was Support Vendor that included information about who and how a device was supported. One problem I ran into was having a historic list... Often there could be questions about a device after it has been removed from production. Unmanaging the device for a time helped. Depending on the size of company and number of nodes this might be all you need. In larger companies there are often teams dedicated to managing assets.  Working with them and including custom fields will reduce their need for have a polling tool that's separate from Orion, And very often only produces questions about what is actually in inventory.
