I would like to monitor BGP status of my edge devices Cisco WS-C3850-24T.
How can I add a poller or use other means to have a widget that would display
BGP status ESTABLISHED, ACTIVE, IDLE etc? Thank you.
First check if you have the BGP monitoring available on your device by Manage nodes>List resources
BGP neighbours must be selected on the node to monitor the BGP status.
Once this is selected, in the management widget select 'Poll now' and 'Rediscover' to prioritise the node polling.
Then under the Network tab of the node you will see the Routing neighbours widget with the status.
That's a big help. I wondered why that would get listed as a resource and then I'd never see them again. Thank you.
