Please help me stop an old reboot alert repeating over and over again!

I added a HP Switch (SNMP), no problems. I can see the Ports etc.

But since I added the switch in December(!!) I get this error over and over, every 20-75 min (quite random)

ALERT: X023POO01 rebooted at Donnerstag, 21. Oktober 2021 17:29

Why do I get that alert over and over from a reboot in October?

Most times it resolves itself. I can also ack it, no help.

I have the same switch model already already added before, no problems, no wrong alerts.

Can you check the alert trigger condition for the Reboot alert in your environment ?

Or is it Out of Box alert which ideally checks 'Last boot has changed' X1 ?

Check SNMP Service in HPSwitch , If the SNMp service restarted , you will get node rebooted alert

Ramsundar is absolutely correct, SNMP Service start time is what is captured as last reboot time, when SNMP Service on the device is restarted the last reboot time will also change on your node and that is the reason why you are seeing these alerts, please check why is the snmp service getting restarted on these devices.

Ideally it so happens that when device is rebooted, snmp service is restarted as part of device reboot. But the above scenario is pretty much valid.
