Discovery (change and edit) existing discoveries, to many steps

After a long time (user and consultant), I find the discovery function a bit limited (it has not been improved)

Every module adds a step in the discovery (SAM, UDT, NCM ) and you can not limit the steps. Also fast forward to the end is not possible.

Any suggestions here?
