Anyone Monitoring NetApp using SNMP

Hi Team,

I'm new to Solarwinds product, need your advice on monitoring NetApp OnCommand System Manager (Storage Volumes & LUN's, events) .

I got the SNMP MiB's from vendor. Not sure how to proceed. 

Got some clue on UnDP may be used, still little skeptical. Can someone please help.

There are a number of UnDP templates, which you can import in to the UnDP application to then review, assign and configure. The following is the link from searching the NPM UnDP Content Exchange, from which I am sure you will find value.

Essentially you have a decision about the depth of information you need and the amount you are willing to invest in getting access to it. The NetApps are best monitored via their HTTP web service API rather than SNMP (assuming this is not an old NetApp), so if you have SAM you could go that route. Above is the SNMP based method, but note, that you will not be able to get as complete a picture as you would with the Orion Storage Resource Monitor module. Value of the information vs cost of licensing or cost of manual monitoring configuration using Web Service API or SNMP
