The SAM1 License.

Today I upgraded our license from AL1100 to SAM100 or so I thought, I noticed that the online license manager page was showing SAM1. I entered my new key in.

I have a fully activated SAM1 license now...

Now I have to decide which node gets monitored... SolarWinds are sorting this out for me.

I'm 80 nodes over my license... so if anyone has any idea how I can spread my 1 license over 80 nodes let me know? i'm sure there must be a way...

Bahahaha! There IS a very sneaky way of using only a single node license by creating a single template with hundreds of PowerShell components running locally, but I certainly don't think it's a good use of time to develop it all!

I've seen this done too! I had forgotten about this. We would be banished into the ether for even discussing such a thing. All you need is a bucket full of powershell and a hatred of paying for licenses.

SolarWinds support have resolved this. Debra, Matt and Kim got involved. Very appreciative they saved my bacon.
