Alert Creation Help - Need an alert on a specific component in a SAM template

I'm new to SAM. This should be pretty easy for someone to answer...

I need to know which trigger condition fields to use in my alert that will allow me to trigger on a specific component in my SAM template. The assigned template has many components. I see how to monitor the application and if it goes unhealthy, but I'm unclear on how to create an alert on just a specific component.

In your trigger scope change the scope to the component you are looking for then add a check for a specific status.
