Possibility? - Run a script on a node to test actions

Hi,

We've a server A; would like to run following checks:

1. Check Server A connectivity with Database D

2. Run a test SQL query for Database D on the Server A

In life (and Orion) all most things are possible. But this would need to be wrapped in something else before you have an alert. Probably would be as a SAM SQL Server User Experience component.

Thanks @KMSigma.SWI - Do we have a good details steps to just run a file on server i.e. execute a file which is on the nodes and then get the output.

Let's step back a minute. Let me see if I have the steps correct:

You want to check if there's network connectivity between Server A and Server D.
You want to check that Server A can connect to SQL on Server D and access database DB.
You want to run a query from Server A against database DB.
You want to return the results of said query back to Orion.
If any of the above steps fail, you want an alert.

Do I have that correct?

Yes, There's nothing as Server D (for #1) it will be database DB.
