SMTP settings with Office 365

Question

Has anyone successfully used Office 365 as an SMTP server in Orion? I'm getting: System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Error in processing. The server response was: 5.7.3 STARTTLS is required to send mail.

There is no MFA on the account as well and I'm using port 587 as documented with MS. Not getting any resolution from SW support so thought I'd post here. Thanks.

I've never seen needing to import a MS cert for 365 SMTP, but I'm researching. Anyone else had to do this??

Unfortunately, the only way we could get it to work is via port 25, which isn't a solution. It all points to TLS negotiation being the issue so I'm just not sure.
