Three nodes stuck in Down state

I have three nodes on the same APE that started reporting as Down. All three are Windows polled via WMI.

I've tried:

• Deleting the Nodes and letting Network Discovery re-import
  • It did re-import them, with all metrics, in a Down (?!) state
• Reboot the APE
• Ignore the issue over the weekend and hope it goes away
  • This normally doesn't work, and didn't this time either...

Asset Inventory is working. CPU, RAM, Storage, Networking metrics are working. It appears everything but the Status indicator is correct.

Any thoughts?

I am assuming you are using ICMP & WMI to add/monitor these windows boxes, verify if your SolarWinds servers can ping these devices. I am suspecting that ICMP is blocked between SolarWinds and these servers.

WMI is working fine and hence you can see all stats but ICMP is not working.

Open Command prompt on SolarWinds Server and ping the IP (Windows Servers) check if ping is reachable

C:\> ping X.X.X.X

Packet loss........... ?
