Is it possible to bulk change the preferred CISCO MIB for a large number of nodes - instead of going in and editing each one manually.
We have a large number using the first one but needs changed to the one above.
@mgillespie1981, yes this value can be modified in bulk, from the manage nodes screen select the nodes you want to change and then select Edit Properties. When you do this you will notice that it looks slightly different than singular edit properties. Scroll down to the Hardware Health Polling section and select the value you want to be modified and set it appropriately. Basically, anything selected will be changed to what you have defined, and anything unselected will be untouched.
Thanks, I was aware you could multi-edit but not necessarily this specifc option. The issue I have is finding the all of the nodes now from hardware sensors that need this changed as the problem can be finding them in manage hardware sensors if they are all over the place as the group by parent doesn't group them in alphabetical order.
@mgillespie1981, what factor do you key in on for the Hardware Sensors that indicate to you that the MIB needs to be updated?
