We have been using SAM for about a year now, and until this past week, I have not monitored any of my linux nodes.I added a node last week with some assitance from support, but I am having problems replicating what I did on additional nodes.
At first, I created a new set of credentials for SAM, and set up the node. I was able to see it, but extremely limited information was shown. I then worked with someone, and I was directed to use the agent. I got the scripts and installed on the linux node, at that point I was able to see it in the Manage Agent's screen, and Manage as Node.
This time thru, I skipped the credentials and initial setup. I just installed the Agent on the new node. I am not seeing it in Manage Agents. Do I still need to discover it somehow? Or do an initial setup like I did for the first node? Or could there be another problem?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
