Cisco ASA Nodes Failover not happening correctly

Hello All,

I am trying to create a Cisco ASA failover nodes notification as per mentioned in the below URL. But when I am trying it to use the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.6 for same two active devices I am getting a different value,s for the one of the Active device getting value 9 which is correct and for one one more active device, I am getting value 10 (this should be 9 as it is not the standby device) . I wanted to understand, why both Active devices is giving me different result one is correct , other one is wrong.

Ok I am assuming its an active/active cluster based on your comments, can you try the below OID's on these nodes.

1. On the first active device use 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.6 - I mean on the one where you are getting value 9 use this OID and leave it as is.

2. For the second active device use 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.7 - replace this with .6 OID on second device and let me know what value does it show.

Thanks for the update. We have Active and standby only we don't have active active cluster bases.

Yes for failover device, when I am using the 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.6 , I am getting value 10 . When I am using the 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.7 then I am getting value 9 . For few Active devices I have to use 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.7 then I am getting value 9 and vice versa.

That is why i am getting false alerts.
