CISCO Thin AP name variable

I'm trying to pull through a thin AP name into an email alert, but can't find a variable which will do it. I can see NPM can display AP names when viewing AP's via the wireless dashboard, but after configuring alerts for an AP going down I can't find a way to insert the name into an email.

Hi Rich,

Apologies you haven't had a reply to date. I've only just spotted this as I was looking for something else.

Anyway, I'm presuming the way you'd approach this is to use an alert that "listens" to the WLC for a down status, and then in your trigger actions configure it to be sent by eMail? If so, try: ${N=SwisEntity;M=Name} - it's what works for us.

Added to the Network Tab of the device

I get nothing back on this and when I try the code in SWQL Studio it just returns: "error."

Any ideas?
