Citrix Netscaler multiple cpu threshold alerting

Im trying to set up some threshold cpu alerting for Citrix Netscaler but im not getting any alerts. I have set the threshold to 1% to guarantee getting an alert but still nothing.

I have already set up universal device pollers. They are correctly polling data and I can see that in graphs.

as you can see there are 3 CPU returning data.

here is the undp and you can see it showing the 3 cpus

some devices only have 2 but most of our netscaler have multiples.

I have set up 3 threshold alerts but none of them are working.

Im currently testing on the 5% named one but this is set to alert on 1% cpu

here is the summary of that alert.

I think there is some issue with it alerting correctly as it sees multiple cpus

you can see that it wont trigger on any device

can someone assist me in getting this working.

i asked support but they said they are there to break/fix not help with custom polling/alerting.

so i managed to get it working using another CPU oid - resCPUusage

i couldnt get it working using the muliple cpu oid - nsCPUusage

so no idea how solarwinds deals with table undp for alerting

I followed the guide here and set the scope to resCPUusage and then the trigger as the value
