Feature Request: Multiple link display between 2 entities

If you create 2 links between the same 2 entities, IE 2 interface links exist between 2 Core Sw and Router, this displays in Orion maps as only 1 link. You have to click on the link to display both interfaces and statistics. 

Additionally, the statistics displayed on this link display for only 1 of the 2 links, and I was told by SolarWinds displays the last populated data so switches between either of the interfaces. You cannot create a custom text field to statically display the data for both and/or aggerate of the 2. I opened Case # 00870318 with SolarWinds and was told this is a limitation of the map.

Additionally, if you add the individual interfaces to the map to display these links separately, it will still display the device-device links as an inherited topology connection and this cannot be removed. This is problematic because it could be displaying either of the 2 links and cant be defined.

Thanks @acurrent for the request! The current behavior does show a single connection if there are multiple connections between endpoints. However, the goal there is to minimize noise and simply highlight problematic areas. In other words, show me when something is bad. So if there is a link that exceeds a threshold, it will be visualized on the canvas in order to indicate investigation should occur. As you indicated above, you do have the option to display the interfaces individually, but the device to device connections will remain.

So you may create something like this:

This would let you see the individual connections if need be. On a bigger map it may look like this.

Clicking on any link in View Mode will obviously populate the inspector panel where you will see the current stats associated to the link or links.
