SQL View - VIM_VirtualMachineStatistics_CS hitting database server hard

We have been doing some performance analyzing on our SolarWinds Database due to the fact we've been noticing our Solarwinds Database consuming a great deal of resources on our SQL server and storage.

One thing we've found is that the SQL View VIM_VirtualMachineStatistics_CS is getting hit an astronomical amount of times constantly.

Is there a way to tell what's using that and why it would be getting hit so hard and figure out a way to get that under control?

@klomper218, what version are you running? I found that in versions prior to 2020.2.5 I noticed the same behavior that would also cause deadlocks especially during service restarts. When we upgraded to 2020.2.5 the issue was addressed and resolved.

We are on 2020.2.4 working on the upgrade to 2020.2.5. We'll see how it goes after the upgrade. If anyone else has any thoughts before then, please chime in. Thanks a ton Christopher.
