after updating NPM to 2020.2.6 I have a site that won't branch out

I have a site that has multiple sites under it that when you branch out there is nothing. When I go to manage and search one of the nodes under it I can find it.

Tried recycling the app pools on the app server then running iisreset

Also rebooted db and app server.

Any ideas?

Can you provide some more details on what you are describing? What is the site? is it a network atlas map, Orion map, group, or other entity? What does branching out mean?

Carpet & Flooring should show sites under it like Chemical does. I can go under Manage Nodes and search them so I know they are still there and associated with that Site

Have you verified the 'Site' Custom Property for those nodes are correct and don't contain any potential illegal characters?

Category, Site & Sub_Sites are custom properties. Can you check that the values for those nodes are as you expect? Settings -> All Settings -> Manage Custom Properties. Do you have any account limitations applied to the account?

this is one of them and its correct. I even selected the site again.

I had sent Solarwinds support diagnostics and they sent me this a few minutes ago but I am good with changing the site name. I may test. Figured I'd share.

After reviewing the logs and investigating internally, it appears the issue may be related to bad entries in the container member /limitation snapshots for Orion.

Can you please perform the following and let me know if there is any change in the behavior?

1. Stop all services using the Orion Service Manager (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\StopNetPerfMon.exe) on all Orion servers
2. Open the Database Manager (Default Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\DatabaseManager.exe)
3. Execute the following query on the Orion database:

DELETE FROM [LimitationSnapShots]
DELETE FROM [ContainerMemberSnapshots]
