How to monitor print queues and print queue status?

Hello, my apologies if either of these questions have been asked/answered already, I wasn't able to find anything for this specific task. I've been asked to see if I can monitor a specific print queue's status on a print server to see if if becomes disabled? All far as I know and what I've found, print queues don't have an IP address. I've looked at the 'Windows Print Services' template, but couldn't find how to add specific print queues.

Last question, how do I monitor a specific print queue if the queue gets over 15 jobs?

So I think that you are used to something like the output of PowerShell's get-printer, like:

Get-Printer | Select Name, PrinterStatus

The template you mentioned is designed to handle the entire server. For instance, 1 of my print server has 350 queues, I want the template to summarize it. And, SolarWinds does not know you printer names, and the perf stats collected are either the total, or for the specifically named printer instance. Jobs Spooling is the counter that will tell you the '15' pending jobs typically. You can add/duplicate the monitors you need (maybe rename them to make sense) Generally you alert on the 'Not ready errors' for printers that can't print.
