NPM and NTA Licensing

We recently got unlimited NPM licenses. We are adding all our nodes interfaces in NPM for monitoring. However, we have only 2000 licenses for NTA. Now my doubt is-

1> Will adding this interfaces in NPM affect the NTA licenses?

2> Where to see the total consumed and remaining licenses for NTA? Cause when go to License details page NTA does not show total used or free license numbers.

You must have NTA with the same licensing level as NPM, see documentation: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/nta/content/nta-licensing-solarwinds-netflow-traffic-analyzer-sw127.htm . You might want to verify if NTA is working properly since it should stop on NPM/NTA license level mismatch.

Adding interfaces will not affect NTA licensing but the big question here is how is NTA working at the 2000 limit with NPM being at an SLX both licenses need to match each other I would make sure your NTA is still functioning.

Licensing for SolarWinds NTA follows the license level of your SolarWinds NPM installation. For example, if you have an NPM license for SL250, your SolarWinds NTA license is also SL250.

When upgrading licenses, the license levels must match. For example, when you upgrade an NPM SL250 license to SL500, you must upgrade your SolarWinds NTA license to SL500.
