SSL certificate monitoring

Hello all, I'm new in the community and I'd like to get some help and coments about next question.

Is solarwinds able to monitoring actual SSL certs (extenal) or just Self Signed cetificate?

If so, what is the best way to do that?

You can monitor in SAM and also can generate an alert when it is about to expire like in 30 days or so.

Hi and welcome!

Orion can monitor both, does not matter. The question is where you use these certificates. If it's only on a website you can use either a HTTPS component. If it's IIS webserver you can also use the AppInsight for IIS.

If you want to monitor all certificates on the windows server you can do that with some powershell monitoring scripts.

Like this one:
