[SAM] Basic Oracle Monitoring - Failed to detect ORACLE HOME directory

Hey guys,

i was trying to add an oracle database into SAM. I used the predefined template from solarwinds (Oracle Database).

After filling out the specific information (credentails, Destination Point Name, etc.) i test and get following error:

Have anybody an idea, what this error mean. I searched the whole internet and didn't find anything.

Check listener.ora on the database that you want to monitor. Take note of the port and SID. Edit the Oracle Database template and change the port to match what is in the listener.ora file. Then change Destination Point Type to SID (SERVICE_NAME is default). I had Managed Oracle Data Provider for .NET selected as the client and I have the 32bit client files copied to my SolarWinds install directory.
