Link network interface not alert

I have a 1 GB internet link but it's actually only 80 mb usable.

I create alert if interface High Transmit Percent Utilization > 70 % will trigger ,but when interface High Transmit Percent Utilization > 70 % is not triggered.

I'm not sure if I have to setting the reference based on 1 GB or 80 MB usable.

If you have a bandwidth statement on the interface, NPM should detect the speed at 80 Mb. If not, you can edit the interface and override the transmit/receive bandwidth.

You can see what SolarWinds detects the bandwidth as by looking at the Interface Details widget when drilling down into the interface.

If the bandwidth is 1 Gbps, edit the interface and enable the Custom Bandwidth option. You can then input 80 Mbps for the Transmit/Receive.

Custom Bandwidth can be done on multiple devices at the same time or just only per node ?

This is changed at the interface level, not the node level.

You can select multiple interfaces in the Manage Nodes screen and edit multiple interfaces at once.
