First time poster here - I have learnt a lot from reading other forum posts and people techniques.
I have created an Application Template in SAM that has three Linux Script Monitors - each of these return multiple statistics.
Once I assigned the template to a node, I then created (duplicated) a classic view for the Application so I can display in a graph form the results of these tests. I have aded three Multiple Statistic Chart widgets and I customised them selecting the appropriate Components to display (ie one Component / Script Monitor per chart). I also customised the default data timeframe and frequency to display. This seemed to work and would display the information.
The problem is when I went to a second node that had the same application assigned, all three Multiple Statistic Chart widgets displayed only the first component's data. The labels and data timeframe/frequency was still customised to three different settings.
I went to edit the view from Admin settings -> Manage Dashboards/Views and then found the view, editied, did a preview and tried to edit the chart. At that point, instead of being able to selecta compnent, SolarWinds tells me "There is no component available for this type of chart."
Is there some trick to making the components stick?
Or is there a better way to get multiple components to be charted on seperate charts?
If I can get this to work on the display, I would ultimately like to put this on reports we send to customers.
