Is there a way to determine the active node in a HA pool

Question

Looking to find a way to determine the active node of my HA pools.  I am trying to set up alerting to another monitoring tool but need a way to determine which server is the active server in the HA pool since the services will only be running on that node.

I am not sure how you want to pull in the data, but here's PowerShell that will tell you the active engine for each pool.
