Help! Alert variables wont display anything.

I'm trying to get the following variables to display urls but they will not, please help!

${N=Alerting;M=AlertDetailsUrl}
${N=Alerting;M=AcknowledgeUrl}

These URLs won't render in Preview or Testing mode. They rely on a legitimate alert be triggered, so if this is something you are seeing only in testing, they won't be rendered. If you are seeing them in an actual alert, it would be helpful to know which version of the SolarWinds Orion platform you are running and to have some more details on the alert.

Are you trying to show these within an alert, such as an email alert? Is it showing nothing at all, or just not rendering as a URL?

version 2020.2.4. I was creating a new action for alerts so I didn't know that it relied on a legitimate alarm for a url to display. It makes sense now that's you've explained it. Ill wait for a legit alert to occur to see if there is an issue. Thank you.
