MRC client agent not connecting. But, both sides are the same version

I get the message - The version of Dameware Mini Remote Control application you are using is not supported by the MRC client agent......

Both sides are activated and have the same version installed -- 6.9.0.4.

What is the problem?

I've experience this error when the service running on the host computer needs updating, try going to File>Install Service to see if you can update it.

On one PC that update option was grayed out. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the service and it started working correctly. I think on that PC someone with a different version had also connected and possibly goofed something up. Thanks for the suggestion, it worked.
