Could you please help me on that Create the Dashboard for Network Devices

Hi,

  We want to Create the network devices dashboard in console. Current we are monitoring the 2000+ device in my environment. We need to create the Customized dashboard only network devices and we will provide the access to support team. Please help me on that how to create the Network devices dashboard in console. 

> we need to create group or CP.-----> GROUP (Network devices) CP - Owner 
> Create the New View for network devices. 
> after that create that Customized dashboard 
> after that we need to provide the access to support team

  is this correct process to create the Custom dashboard or please help to me. 


Note : Current environment version orion platform 2020.2.

As you likely have guessed there is a lot of ways to do this, and you seem like you are on the right track. I do recommend Custom Properties to break out nodes in Orion, that way its easy to use them to power reports, groups, dashboards, alerts, any anything with a custom query. If you are using the older widgets, then yes, filter that view with the property in the view Limitation of the page properties. The newer dashboards right now you have to include the custom property in the where clause of the SWQL that powers each part. 

Granting Access to the team will follow the access granted to them of the devices in Orion generally, those rules are for all of Orion. Give it a shot, and if you have specific questions I bet we can work through it.
