Hardware Health - Power Supply Disappears

We have a Cisco C9300-24T stack. 

1 of the 2 switches has a bad power supply.

the bad power supply falls off the page instead of being marked as down

support cannot seem to get this figured out. 

anyone know a way to fix this? or if this is a bug, anyone from solarwinds product support here?

It will depend on how your Cisco switch presents the power supply information in the MIB.

The hardware health sensors will pull all the sensors from the selected MIB (CISCO-ENVMON-MIB or CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB depending on which one you are using). If the switch removes the sensor from the MIB table when it goes down, SolarWinds will stop reading that sensor (it's not in the table anymore).

I'd run an SNMP walk against two switches (one with a bad PSU, one with good PSUs) and confirm the power supply information is in the MIB and compare the two tables. Confirm the broken PSU info is in the MIB - if so then it's a SolarWinds polling issue, if not then it's a Cisco issue.

You could try Editing Properties for that switch in SolarWinds and forcing it to use the older CISCO-ENVMON-MIB (seems to work better for your basic hardware metrics) but I've recently found some Cisco devices don't even have that MIB anymore.
