I have an active/passive ASA pair being monitored that terninate some site to site VPNs. Some of these VPNs are not in use 100% of the time unless needed, which is a rare occurrence they're for support parters to access usually very stable kit in the event of a problem.
The issue I have is that those VPNs obviously show as down/failing VPNs and generate an alarm. I'd rather not have those particular tunnels monitored at all. I can acknowledge the alarm, but if the tunnel gets used, when it drops again, the alarm will return. There appears to be no way to pick and choose wihich of the VPN tunnels are monitored - it's either all or none.
Is there a simple way to be a b it more selctive like a checkbox per tunnel that says "monitor y/n" so we can discriminate against permanently used and temporarily used tunnels?
