While assigning template to set of nodes, the template is being assigned to 4-5 time to same node

Hi Team,

I am using SAM 2020.2.4. 

While opening case # 00764714, support informed that it is a bug.

It takes a lot of time while assigning a template to many thousands nodes. 

Could someone suggest if there is a upper limit to assign nodes to template, or if we can expect a bug fix soon.
