Will both be triggered and if only one will be triggered, how is that decided?
I made a copy of an alert to test and now I have one node triggering the out-of-box alert and a different node triggering the new copy alert that was made.
If you have two alerts with identical conditions, they'll both be triggered when the conditions are met.
I've not seen that before. An alert will trigger if conditions are met.
You should add in the "All Alerts this Object can trigger" widget on the nodes and see what it shows up. There must be a difference between the 2 alerts for it to trigger differently.
Post up your alerts so we can have a look.
That is what I thought but that doesn't seem to be the behavior. As I stated, I have one node that triggered the out-of-box alert and then I had a different node trigger the copy alert. Have you seen this behavior before?
I have not! My experience is that all matching alerts are triggered.
