Import SAM Templates using API

Thanks to Solarwinds team for constructing API to import new SAM templates.

I was trying to push all the contents of a exported template(apm-template) into the Import API, but it wasnt successful., thought i am able to import the template as file using UI

Any guidelines, we have currently while constructing the xml specific to this API.

@aLTeReGo @mesverrum any help / pointer on this, I am able to import entire XML (from exported application template) , would like to understand if i can ignore any attributes, while importing..

@aLTeReGo, currently we are importing all attributes from an exported template for a windows service monitors, Wherein we dont want above (##) attributes to be passed as part of Json, they werent changed

Templates : DebugLoggingEnabled,__NumberOfLogFilesToKeep

Component settings: thresholds for CPU,Memory,etc

Have you tried removing those items and importing the template through the UI? If it's improperly formatted, you should receive an error. The default handling is if an optional property does not exist in the template uploaded, it is handled gracefully through the import process.
