Alert no longer translating SwisEntity variables

I have a few alerts that use the variables:

• ${N=SwisEntity;M=Application.ApplicationID}
• ${N=SwisEntity;M=ComponentID}}

These worked in the past, but after a few upgrades (we are now running SAM: 2020.2.4), they are no longer returning values. What are the proper variables to use to get those values?

As well, is there a complete list of all the variables?  I've looked around and am only able to find partial lists.

They haven't changed, i used them both in my current templates and have been on 20202.2.4 for a couple months.  The most common problem i find is trying to use the same variable on different kinds of alert objects. What I mean is if the object of your alert is a component those will work, but if you tried to use them on an alert that targets applications they wouldn't resolve.  

${N=SwisEntity;M=Application.ApplicationID} becomes ${N=SwisEntity;M=ApplicationID} and ${N=SwisEntity;M=ComponentID} cannot be obtained from an app alert.

Also the only complete list is to use the "Insert Variable" button inside your browser when you are building the actions.  There are several thousand possible variables, and they change depending on the kind of alert object you are dealing with.  Essentially it's a list of almost every column name in the database, and what is available changes from one version to the next so nobody has had the appetite to rebuild what is already available in the GUI.

Another possibility I have seen was with intermittent glitches in my Info service or alerting service where sometimes the system gets bogged down and just can't populate the variables in time so they show up as the raw values instead of being resolved, but when that happens it will be once in a while and random, not every single alert.
