Appinsight for SQL - Alert on high database fragmentation levels

Good day all,

We are using Appinsight for SQL to monitor our database's general health status. We get a lot of alerts using the component alert when it's just a database at a high fragmentation level. Is there a way to set an alert to just monitor the fragmentation level of a monitored database? I keep searching through Thwack and not finding a solid answer. Any help would be appreciated.

In that case you should create a separate application monitor and use the following component monitor -> https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/SAM/Content/SAM-SQL-Server-User-Experience-Monitor-sw3308.htm

Write a SQL Query to extract fragmentation level of the database through SQL Server Exp Monitor and create alerts based on the output of your SQL Query.

For this scenario I always just removed the critical fragmentation threshold and switched my warning to only be above 95% for more than 24 hours. I don't generally consider index fragmentation to be a real problem I need to track as our DBA's run default jobs on all instances to maintain that sort of thing.
