Linux Memory Utilization - Include SReclaimable for Computation

Hi Everyone,

I am having a difficult time correcting the memory utilization for our Linux Servers.

I know the computation for the Used/Free memory but it seems that there is a discrepancy in the sum of cache/buff.

I read an article that says the sum of buff/cache includes SReclaimable as well but I cannot find any OIDs for this.

Do we have an alternate computation for the cache/buff using the known OIDs for Linux?

Memory utilization in Linux is something that seems to be eternally in dispute about how to "best" calculate it.  I gave up on trying to force to square peg of SNMP to fit in that round hole or arguing with Linux admins about what they think should or shouldn't count.  You can just get what you need from SSH shell scripts if you have SAM, and if don't you can still get into the weeds a bit with custom extended SNMP OIDS that would also run your script and return whatever you think is the correct output.
