Orion 2018.2 H6 failing upgrade advisor on itself!

Ran the product upgrade advisor. I have the following:

Windows 2012R2 , Orion Platform 2018.2 HF6, IPAM 4.7.0, VNQM 4.5.0, NCM 7.8, NPM 12.3, DPAIM 11.1.0, NTA 4.4.0, UDT 3.3.1, SAM 6.7.0, NetPath 1.1.3

I want to upgrade to  2020.2.4.  But the update advisor is telling me my 2018.2 is incompatible with the existing modules installed on it NCM, NPM, etc.

Looking for the best method to get from 2018.2HF6 to 2020.2.4. From what I can tell I should get server to at least 2016, already running Sql 2016.

Anybody got some "sage advice" other than the "official solarwinds upgrade docs"?

you should be able to upgrade to the latest version directly.

recommended to use a fresh server and run the config wizard to connect to your old database
