New Orion Maps - Icon Files location

For new Orion Maps does anyone know where the Status based icon image files are located?

Id like to try on one of our test instances to see if it is possible to replace the default icons with our preferred so they become the default in future instead of having to manually browse and replace within Orion Maps each time.

They can be found under C:\inetpub\SolarWinds\NetPerfMon\images.

The location will be different if you have IIS root deployed else-where.

But as jm_sysadmin points out an upgrade will replace the ones you change.

I wouldn't? Every update will overwrite your work, and a lot of icons get used for different type of items.

Thats a good point thanks. Still where would icon image files be located. My next thought is to copy files for the 'specified icons' so i can modify with different colour versions to be used for G/Y/R status icons

To that point, I use custom icons but I don't set them as default. I find mine in the folder below.

C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Network Atlas\Maps\NetObjects

Where can I find custom networking icons to import into my Orion Maps? I see that you can, and I see where they are stored in the application. I don't see a resource listed to acquire the icons shown in the demo. Thanks.
