can't send message

I want to send a message to the user "username" . But I can't. Thwack says "username" cannot message. Whats wrong?

BTW. The tags section is half covered by the suggestion pane so I can't see my typing.

Can you provide an example and/or screenshot where you are trying to attach/upload a file?

The default settings allow private messages from friends only. You will need to add this person as a friend in order to be able to message them.

Good catch on the tags overlay. We will open a ticket for this.

Unfortunately I can't attach a file. I can only insert it. And in the Upload dialog when I hover over "Upload" the mouse cursor doesn't change. So it's not clear that this can be clicked.

Can you share a screenshot of the error you're getting? Both on the message page and the tag section covering your typing. This will help us troubleshoot more effectively.
