Need Tech Doc - Moving from MPE with agents to APE.
Unable to find on Support internal and Thwack.
Recently built additional APE ver. 2020.2.4. Needing to move Agents (2.4.4.2285) from MPE to APE. Changing Agents from MPE to APE causes packet loss.
I've been frustrated with that behavior on agents forever. In many cases you update the agent via the web console and they go down and you check them on the server and it says it's still pointed at the former polling engine.
I've found that installing the agent again from the web console is one way to get around it, otherwise you end up going server to server updating their agent settings locally.
A simpler method may be to use Group Policy to change the server the Agents are pointed at documentation.solarwinds.com/.../core-agent-migrate-with-gpo.htm
