Question

Hi All,

Can any one help me with with below items.

Is it possible to monitor Processes of a servers(AIX , Hpux) from Orion?

if possible what is the approach for this?

Objective is to monitor below processes:

1. processes with respect to WMS.

2. Processes with respect to Oracle instance.

3. Monitoring filesystem volumes are greater than 95%.

4. Oracle Listener Service. Thanks in Advance.

If you can't get the data you want from SNMP you probably should use SAM and a script running on the AIX, then you could probably get anything you want.

Have you connected to your AIX servers with SNMP already?  There are a lot of AIX specific things that people have a hard time getting but process and file system usage should be available.
