I successfully upgraded to 2020.2.4 with no issues. But the configuration wizard keeps stalling at 39.4% for over an hour. Any ideas why? This is an excerpt of the log during the time its stalled.
Tacking on to keep this on radar. I too was able to update to 2020.2.4 successfully, but my configuration wizard hung at 95.5% when doing the website optimization. Luckily at this point, while I know it's not preferred, I had the option to skip website optimization.
My Orion server is now back online.
I opened a case online at the same time yesterday and attached diagnostics. Waiting to hear back. I'll update this with the results once I hear something.
That is a keep alive entry in the log file. You are modifying the SQL db and the config wiz has is still running. I ran into that with the 2020.2.1 HF2 upgrade. The sql portion lasted hours, it has to do with your db in particular. That is what I learned from my ticket in December. My advice - let it run. Get a coffee, or three. If it runs longer than eight hours - call support. Note - this does not mean that you have db issues. It could be size. If you created your own indexes - you may need to drop them and run config wiz again - confirm with your dba and solarwinds support first.
