Hey Gang - just need some pointers.

We have Orion deployed for a customer with a couple of dozen sites, and I want to provide the regional IT folks with a view of the devices at their location (identified by a custom property of SiteID).  I like the managed nodes view, but I don't want to give them rights to change anything (which I understand is not an option under Managed Nodes). 

Where can I look to get some background on this?

Do you mean that

a) you want a custom default summery page that shows all of their devices for their site? but they could still see all nodes if they searched for them.

b) you want to limit all of orion down so they can only ever see or access devices at their site?

For A:

You can assign them a default summery page.  This would be the default page they get when they logon, or when they click on the logo in the top left.  The best way this works is if you use active directory authentication and they are assigned in Orion by a group that is just for that site, then you can assign that view to the group instead of having to assign it to each user.

For B:

That's limitations and I don't know much about that.
